Something I read about an elephant looking into a mirror comes to mind. Of it walking around the mirror to look on its other side to apparently discover where the other elephant is it had not been able to sense, touch etcet. I have suddenly wondered if its concept of the world now includes an elephant that has no dimension and/or malleability, no smell. The world of the elephant has changed or is not changed by the apparent existence of an elephant who it seems on closer inspection is not there. When the elephant returns to its former position and the elephant appears in front of it again in the mirror, there is only one conclusion the elephant can arrive at. The world as far as the elephant is concerned intimately is composed of elephants who are there and an elephant who is not there. The world has fundamentally changed.

Ukraine is the land of a woman who I admired. I met her shortly in her later years before she died. When she was a young girl, she went into the countryside around where they lived with her grandmother gathering herbs. Her grandmother was the local herbalist. Ukraine is where she was taken from her home and shipped like a work horse to Germany to work as a 'zivilarbeiter'. Ukraine is where she never returned and so I read about Ukraine, longing to know it. I learned Ukraine was poverty stricken. When I read the statistics about the poverty I felt great sadness. Saw the earth and its ravage. How used the soil has been and depleted. Saw the little extent of IT technology and electricty. How can these things be in our day and age. Spare a thought.

Well, just playing devil's advocate, at what stage do you stop them having it? I mean they are involved in huge businesses. Do you have a cut off point with people. Something that they sign when they are poor and borrowing money to get their businesses going. A document that says, 'when you reach xxxxxxx amount we will take it away', yet you won't contribute if they lose money. I don't know what your gripe is? It's not money that you or any one else could have, since it's made by their judgement, endeavours & decisions. Call it what you like. The only thing that you can do is tax them.

Unless you are advocating communism?

Going back to watch West Side Story on Fox. It's still brilliant after all these years .

I only put it up for discussion. As I said I wrote it on the sour of the moment.

It isn't all true anyway. There are good and mendacious on each side.

There is not so much of a divide in The UK. Obviously they have tremendous problems. Many of them resulting from the open door policy of The Blair Government. They've admitted it now the various ministers just purposely allowed rampant influxes of migrants.

I should dig out the reference really to substantiate what I am writing. However, I feel a little weary today.

I like people or not, irrespective of wealth,..... but when they have billions... I get a bit suspicious. With the three I mentioned above, I do know a bit about Twiggy... and the family background.... and am not impressed.
Why do they feel the need to own millions of times over what they could possibly need?
