Hello to one and all at the Window Dresser’s Arms Pig and Whistle affectionately know as the Pigs Arms.
As in the past most music clips were posted on The Dot, the doyen of all pages, however upload time became an issue. Music clips may have contributed to this.
The counter this issue The Muse is now available for all and sundry to post any spontaneous music clip.
These clips will be archived every three months or so or in other words when I get round to it. I will archive all clips in the catergory “Bands at the Pigs Arms”.
I removed 400 clips from The Dot and will post them over time so they to will reside in the same category as the clips from this page. It is an unbelievable song list let me tell you. We are a musical lot and there weren’t many genres missed. We even have both kinds of music, country and western.
Special thanks to Warrigal Mirriyuula for his brilliant pictures. To me, Warrigal’s pictures are so much part of the story that I couldn’t do without them.
Enjoy

Here’s live gem by Larry Carlton
Larry Carlton – Josie
Hers Steely Dan’s answer. They made this to counter disco, pity Becker is such a wank and Fagen struggles with live vocals. The studio version is much better where Larry Carlton does the lead guitar and Becker plays bass.
Steely Dan – Josie
Here’s one that puts Eric Clapton to shame, now I know all you Clapton fans will disagree but Clapton couldn’t use his 4th finger which prevented him from being great, Mayall and Butterfield as his contemporaries were far superior in their fretboard ability. Clapton like Reinhardt used ability over technique to gain popularity.
Robert Johnson – Crossroad
Speaking of Django
Django Reinghardt – Sweet Georgia Brown
I know the feeling.
It’s hard to believe that these guys are into Steely Dan however if you want to listen to this genre these guys are the best
Tool – Stinkfist
