Good Australian talent. I also discovered (in ABC Jazz) very good Blues and Jazz local talent. Unfortunately I can not remember the names & titles!

Thanks Therese, I will. My mind went back to many great bands I say in the 70’s and 80’s back when many pubs would show bands until the nimbys closed them down.

Alge, I have not heard any of these, but I’ll listen to them…I take a shot in the dark and start with Saskwatch, seeing it has already got Therese’s blessing…any young talent ought to be fostered…

Neither had I (or recognised them) a week or so ago bar two of them. I’ll admit some of this won’t be to peoples tastes whilst others are very good songs. The Saskwatch tune, is a modern take on 60’s soul for example. Your Words and Home are very nice ballards whilst the Embrace is haunting.

Hi Algy. Another really interesting playlist ! FM and I saw / heard Saskwatch when they opened for Osaka Monaurail at the Sydney Festival. Excellent band fronted by a very talented and gorgeous singer. The clip reminds me of the Beatles’ Magical Mystery Tour – interesting to look at, but it doesn’t showcase the band. Fortunately Saskwatch have heaps of other YouTube clips. Check them out too !
