I reckon the Bellarus contingent were pretty good, as for the Dutch, Helvi could not stop laughing.
Here is the Dutch one (Studio version)

Thanks Algernon. I like this comment: “For those old enough to remember the days, it is a memorable trip down memory lane, while for the younger viewers, it is a great experiment of time travel back to times when America’s future was bright.”

Viv, Gerard is besides himself, Holland finally got to the finals, the first time ever.. 🙂
Sam and Julia are made for this gig, good ambassadors for Oz, and so funny too…

And Julia was barracking for Nederlands – last named through to the final. I thought it was a lovely song, sung by a lovely singer too. All family coming here tomorrow night for the final. Roast beef etc and plenty of good wine and nibbles for afters while we watch the show. Sam and Julia are bloody perfect. I love Julia.

And tonight, Eurovision is set to provoke another furious row when as it prepares to air its first lesbian kiss.
Finnish entrant Krista Siegfrids, 27, said she wants to ‘make a statement’ about her country’s ban on gay marriage at the end of her performance.
Direct from Finland ( The ‘kiss ‘has been blacked out).

Hello you stalwarts at the PA bar. Through you I have been able to keep some track on Eurovision. Remember when Sandy Shaw won it? I loved that. That is just about when I last watched it through beginning to end. 😉

What country were you in Shoe? Only been in Australia since we got SBS. Here in ‘the bush’ we did not get SBS until about 15 years ago. Since Sandy Shaw of course many more countries have joined the contest. We are a bit pooped here but had a great night. Still have to wash up.

It might have been a replay Vivienne. In Australia. I remember watching with my mum and dad. I am watching each of Algy’s picks here and adding them to my ‘Playlist’ and going to see if can get continuous play but what a bundle of fun am I having with the new computer. I will be doing the dances in “Groovy Movie’ when I get my new glasses tho’. 🙂
