After Friday in Sydney, thoughts were of only one thing Therese. Wedding Cake Island fits well here even though its a lot younger. I liked the The Denvermen clip everyone walks on a beach like that don’t they.

I had forgotten that the Denvermen were Digger Revell’s band. Nice piece of guitar work, bizarre clip though – notwithstanding it is a leisurely stroll down the beach …. but with unplugged electric guitars ?

Speaking of weirdness, Algy, The Shovel was talking about a former Aust. PM – and described him as “adorable because of his casual incompetence and effortless weirdness”.
How incredibly accurate and succinct is that !!! I was chatting with one of our lawyer friends and she said “Yeah. Eating a fucking raw onion, skin and all, on international TV. What the fuck was that about ?????”
My heart goes out to Margie. I mean, can you imagine what it’s like to have one of those come home from work every day ? Bit of a brain snapper I reckon.
