I wonder what and how Prince managed to slip away so utterly unexpected? I rather listen to the above list. Thanks Algy.

Well he is a 1958 model you know HOO, as were Michael Jackson, Madonna and Simon Le Bon (I only mention him because we were born the same day). Mind you I can’t say I’m enamoured to any of them either.

Yes Love letter has appeared before but I had to put it in. I was thinking the same vivienne how like Amy she sounded though for a moment I thought one of them sounded a bit Taylor Swiftish eoww.

I thought Love Letter was terrific. I don’t listen to Taylor Swift (must be in a very select group) so can’t make comparisons. I thought I did well in naming the repeat ! The great thing about your lists is bringing to my attention musicians I’ve never heard before. Two standouts and all women. Thingy and the Dap Dogs and this group.

I don’t listen to Taylor Swift but have heard the odd tune. She seems to appeal to pre or pubescent girls. I was going to include a young bloke from Melbourne as well but the clips didn’t do much for me.

Just had a listen to a couple of Taylor Swifts – bland bland. So many fans for soft soft. Give me decent American’s singers – Suzie Quatro and all those other over 60s women. Pink’s way better.

Indeed vivienne indeed. Swift is from a long line of chewing gum for the eyes and ears produced for the masses. A year or two she’ll be a Taylor who. (not HOO), but worth a squillion, well she’s worth that now .
