Indeed… as I said, it’s not ‘my cup of tea’… but it’s an interesting little musical ‘curiosity’…
I think it’s a good job she stuck to acting; especially comedy!

There were a lot of these sorts of albums around in the 60’s and 70’s, you know actors who could act but sing, well that’s another matter. They either sing classics badly or drivel that no one would ever remembers.
She’s a hoot though as Mrs Bucket!

Yeah… I’d say that about sums it up… I must say I prefer to watch her as Mrs Bucket too… though I’ve seen her play some interesting comedic roles in other classic British comedies, eg. Steptoe and Son.
It’s interesting to see what she looked like a bit younger; but you can see the incipient Mrs Bucket already, I think!
