I was searching online for a reference to an old folk song I heard ’round about 1983 on the David Mulhallen folk music programme on the ABC. It was a 19th century bleat about the dangers of everything that was threatening modern civilisation and its survival including bicycles. I wish I could find it. 🙂

There’s a very good mix of old and new, naughty and nice, sporty and humorous, silly and sentimental…a bit of everything….don’t you think Offenbach looks a bit like our Gez, maybe they are distant relatives 🙂

Offenbach could be, Could Offenbach somehow morph into Oosterman, there appears to be similarities.
I posted much of this one last year, just freshened it up a bit. It’s opportune just in time for the finish of the tour in Paris tonight..
