Of course, the silly thing is that nobody knew how much money was given in foreign aid.
I bet an impromptu show of hands 6 months ago, from bloggers, “with wikipedia blocked” would have produced guesses, form 10million dollars to 3 billion. Who knows, some well informed blogger, like Gerad, or Emmjay even, might have blurted out $20billion just to be in front.
I’m just laughing at the idiocy of the idea that those offended, ever knew what the figure was..

Personally I prefer AA, he’s come up like me and learned to fend for himself. I like him and always have, however he’s mired in the old battles that don’t just exist anymore.

I must be living in a parallel universe. oh the horror of ‘NOT’ increasing foreign aid. The sheer abject horror. Not reducing it by the way, just not increasing it.

The 0.5 per cent figure remains what Abbott calls “an aspirational goal” but one without a target date.

I can’t believe that Macfarlane is the minister Science, oh dear, oh dear….as silly as Brandis in charge of the Arts, Pyne for Education, and, and the best of the jokes: Bishop the Foreign minister…oops not to forget Hockey boy…where are we heading to? Scary.
Abbott slipped in scrutiny free to be our PM, yet everybody is discussing the Labor leader choice, Shorten or Albanese…they are both better than Abbott.

I’ve missed the news for the last week or so, being up to my armpits in sugar soap as I battle to return domestic chaos to its usual pristine perfection (or what passes for it at my place). So I was at first shocked to see the government has chopped off supplies of tomato sauce to recipients of foreign aid.
In retrospect however it might be a blessing in disguise. Except for West Africa where, judging from the only West African restaurant at which I’ve ever eaten, tomato sauce could only be an improvement. The clue should have been that when the French were colonial masters in the country they never lifted a single dish, condiment, or cooking technique into their own repertoire.

And, I’m told, Tony uses the mace and the flail, as well as the cilice (hair shirt) on himself, in a desperate effort to purify his petrified flesh and soul, so pain is the means most preferred by him at least, if not by all of his brutal and mindless minions.
And it’s about time we saw what this thug–with-charisma, Turnshit is really all about! Just another identikit cutout of Tony, Pyne, Morrison, Bishop…
