Here one can really tell the men from the boys. Say what you like but Abbott is all for having women employed to their full capacity. It is just that he believes women are at their peak of fulfilment having babies and doing the ironing at home while supporting dad.
Here Mr Abbott in full flight giving an honest opinion of his support for women;
“There are some good and talented women knocking on the door of the ministry.” Prime Minister Tony Abbott defending his one-woman cabinet.
“They’re young, they’re feisty, I think I can probably say have a bit of sex appeal …” Mr Abbott on what the then candidate for Lindsay, Fiona Scott, and former Liberal MP Jackie Kelly had in common.

Gez, in the photo, that Lib shiela at the top seems to have collapsed. I suspect she’s a blow-up job making up the numbers.
As far as total numbers of women in government goes, I think the stewards should demand a swab from Chrissy Pyne.

“A Canberra priest becomes the first woman in Australia to lead a diocese of the Anglican Church.”
So now we have three female ‘ bishops’ in power; the stuffy Anglican Church has its first female bishop.. The stuffy Oz PM has two ( 1+1) females in his cabinet, Bronny and Julie …
Make haste slowly, but surely not that slowly… 🙂

At least with David Cameron we see the moral stance of a Liberal taking Shri Lanka’s Government to task for their murderous action against the Tamil tigers. Compare that with our own Tory, Abbott, smooching up to the killers to sign an agreement to try and stop people smuggling. Cameron knows that thousands of Shri Lankans are flooding into Europe and England compared with the few hundred here. Abbott uses a photo opportunity to again up the ante towards ‘illegals’ while Cameron stays fixed on taking a strong moral position. That is the difference between a leader and a leaner.

Just to add fuel to the fire, let me table some info that would be useful for conference calls. It’s in an email that I got from Skype.
Do it all, together, with Skype and Windows 8.1
Hi there,
Skype on Windows 8.1 has arrived! And now that you can run multiple apps at once, it’s even easier to bring your friends into the things you love with Skype.
Snap a conversation window to the screen while you’re marathoning your favorite TV show. Get a video message with fashion advice while you’re shopping online. Or even read sheet music alongside a video call and jam together, from anywhere.
So what are you waiting for? Snap Skype to anything on Windows 8.1, and do anything, together.
Talk soon,
Skype
One can see the attraction for women in Parliament, although Penny Wong, would probably prefer the address of a Savile Row tailor!
And just think, Tanya, could actually ‘see’ her children now & again.

So all the male Liberal MPs can see their children too. Julie Bishop can see here sisters. Bronwyn’s daughter is on the television often enough.
Your point is just what? Skype has been around for quite a long time. The techy guys I know think Windows 8 is crap and won’t sell it.

Let’s face it Viv, you’re an argumentative bitch. You couldn’t spot a spoof, in a millennium.

Coming from the prime argumentative nincompoop of a bastard that’s indeed rich. Your ‘spoofs’ would be fine if they were funny and not just glossed up anti-Labor pieces of shit. You do indeed love adding ‘fuel to the fire’ – your own words and motive, as ever.

Carisbrooke, when will you try and undo your English education, stop your bullying and take a leaf out of someone else’s book. Address difficult issues instead of easy personal abuse. Like a spoiled child that ends up throwing his toys on the floor because he/she can’t get his way.
Why call Viv a ‘bitch’ and accuse her, Algy and the Oooostermans with personally building (K)camps and going to the Christmas Island personally drowning boat people.
You are only lowering yourself.

I am so suspicious of what your game is, Carisbrooke, and who you are. Two or three people? All of them with grandiose disorder and allowed to flourish here? Now you put up a link to Mensa? Are you conversing or wanking over what you said to Vivienne!?

Most of the time Julie Bishop won’t even be in the House as she will be somewhere else in the world, ‘swanning’ around or big noting herself at the UN. Apparently she fully supported Labor’s work on getting membership of the Security Council. Liberals can do wonders, even rewrite recent history.
