FM and I saw / heard the Angels at a gig at Revesby Workers Club last year.
They rocked the house down and are an excellent role model for growing old disgracefully !

Saw the Angels live at Adelaide Uni Bar during the 80s… it was a good gig… don’t remember much else about ’em!

Margaret Cho has a funny bit about people from the 80s ending up in retirement homes…she pictures us all sitting around together singing “Hungry Like A Wolf” Man…these guys have not aged well.

Only the singer is the same guy. The 2007 clip is from RockWiz – house band – James Black on guitar and Hammond – who can bloody play anything, Peter Lucky Luscombe on drums – a former Jo Jo Zep colleague and I always forget the bassist’s name. Having seen the original Angels live last year, I can say that they HAVE aged reasonably well – beef notwithstanding !
The crowd – on the other hand, not so well !
