Don’t forget 2001, A Space Odyssey! (If movie themes count, this is valid isn’t it?) And then of course you have the movie, ‘1942’… Oh, and 1492 too!
But I have to admit there appears to be something of a dearth of songs celebrating years; perhaps few of them were actually good enough to be worthy of remembering in song…?
Nice selection as always Algae! Look forward to going through these; haven’t heard ‘Jersey Thursday’ in longer than I care to remember! Surprises me how many of these I can play… Ruby Tuesday, Monday Monday, Friday on my Mind… not bad; a ‘hat trick’ from this list!
