A rare find from Algernon
The album, For a Few guitars More, is a modern interpretation of the soundtracks composed by Ennio Morricone. The album was produced in 2002. Unfortunately not all tracks on that album are available on Youtube, so I’ve mostly listed soundtracks from the movies.

The Big Gundown

It is amazing how sometimes good music slips below the horizon of a better and more public acknowledgement. I loved listening to this music. Bravo Algy. Well re-discovered.

I’ll have a listen later Algy. Interesting new theme. I’m sure I’ll recognise some – seen a lot of westerns over the decades.

I came across this when I found The Atlantics played one of the tunes. I don’t recognise any of the other “bands”. Thought it was fresh look at these tune.

Interesting alge, haven’t seen many or should I say any spaghetti westerns, so I took stab in the dark and listened to Farewell to Cheyenne…very good, it put me in the mood to listen some more…

Can’t say I’ve seen too many of them either Helvi, the music though I’ve heard often before. Not saying any of it is better than the originals but thought it a pretty good attempt.
