Took me back to Ag Science Year 4 Animal Husbandry at Sydney Uni, Algy.
These long suffering dairy cows were lined up and leg roped so they could not kick the crap out of us. Understandably the cows thought it wise to shit your hand/arm out and built up quite a lot of pressure during the procedure.
Stan Moore (I kid you not) moved ever so slightly to the side and sprayed Greg Brown (literally green). Greg was a turd so it was very appropriate.
I kept my preg testing shoulder length rubber glove for years as a memento but the rubber eventually perished.
So she’s no longer with me, I’m sad to say. You never know when someone will romp up to you and ask if their cow is pregnant. Big loss !

Its an important skill, cow pregnancy testing. Mrs A had a friend who trained horses and the like, they were also an artificial inseminator for the horses. A lucrative little earner for servicing the horses.
