We’re lucky here nowadays. The overland flow was huge with big storms once then the next door neighbours built a new house and their onsite detention does all the heavy lifting. The other neighbour complains that their garage floods, have to point out their house was built on a gully.

We had some good rain here. No floods. Which is good. We had drought, fire and awaiting mouse plague ! But we have dreadful panic weed, it’s awful.

I think she means the hairy panic. It has to be fought at all costs when you’ve got hairy panic. 🙂

It used to invade my garden in SA. My frequent task was to go gather it from blowing round. It is a tumbleweed effect thingy I saw photos of it where it amassed at the closed doorways of shops in one of the regional rural towns.
