From the days when American comedy was actually funny. Hilarious, really. Glad you liked it Algy. Sometimes I think my work at the pub is so pedestrian. SO cut and paste…. but then I think that life has become random and a random gag, no matter what the source is good for a laugh. And thank Christ for that !
I find some of these things found on sites like youtube worth sharing with others. I laughed from go to whoa on this one. The bloke in the chair I notice could barely hold a straight face. A good laugh I find makes for a good day.
He had the audience really going for it. I wonder when all the coughers and excessively (funny) screaming laughers were taken out the back of the studios leaving only canned laughter like on Charlie Sheen’s rubbish.
I remember seeing that years ago. Hysterically funny and stands the test of time. Wish the Americans would stick to
slap stick comedy and not some of the tasteless smartarse stuff we usually see (wisecracks which really are not funny – you know what I mean).

I have seen some funny Charlie Sheen. On a Saturday evening scoot to watch this vid. again.
My favourite Steve Martin movie is ‘Novocaine’. I have watched it four times and it always enchants me if that’s the word. 🙂

So did I, Big.
I remember him well – also on McHale’s Navy.
