You will not believe this but I have finished my 54,000 word novel and it has got rave reviews from a literary critic and a copy editor!!! It’s going to be published as a paperback and on Kindle!!!!
I am expecting to get sued by everyone in Glasgow, posthumously by Giacomom Puccini after what Nelson does to Madama Butterfly (it has a slightly different ending…), the Freemasons plus my sister. b
If I make enough money I can pay for Emmjay and FM to do a return trip to Europe!!!

These dudes have co-ordination, strength and reflexes of the highest calibre – not to mention nerves of steel, don’t they ? Thankfully the (I gather) horrendous injuries that result from a simple slip up aren’t documented in this clip.
Some of the other downhills I watched as a result of Ricardo’s tip, show frames and wheels that are totally wrecked – front forks and head stock completely broken from the rest of the frame. Tough sport – def not for the faint hearted.

Too true. I went on to watch a few more clips on You Tube and I was amazed with their skills as they were coming down a mountain and actually jumping off & down cliffs, into the gullies, over big boulders and so on. Daredevils, that’s what they are. I hope they have a good medical insurance policy to cover their hospital expenses. One also tends to collect a lot of nuts and bolts in this line of entertainment and gain weight like Evel Knievel.

Good point, hph. I reckon the orthopods and the titanium parts industries should join Red Bull in the sponsors’ tent – this sport’s got to generate a lot of wealth for them !
