Hi folks.
I finally got a video to work. Sadly it was incredibly windy so I had to silence the audio track. Next step will be to put some proper sound in there.
This was my favourite sculpture by the sea captured on a crappy phone camera – but hey….. it is between Bondi and Tamarama – filmed last Sunday evening.
Runs for 27 seconds in case you have to dash out for a cuppa….
Gee Mike I had to put off my emema for 27 seconds

With friends like you have, Hung, I cannot imagine you would never have any ememas. But if you did, you definitely should hold them closer.

Profound. (And don’t go into your routine Mr False Modesty)

Thanks so much for the reminder, it’s easy to let these things slip by. I did that beautiful walk for the first time only this year and resolved then to be back for Sculptures by the Sea. I can’t wait to see that sculpture in situ, on a windy beach cliff top.
Only, even in Winter, parking at Bondi is abysmal. Perhaps closer to Tamarama.

That’s the way we did it Voice. Parked at Tamarama and walked the exhibition in reverse. Fantastic show. Windy indeed.

Looks like Salome and the 7 veils think to me, though it might be good to know that ‘The “dance of the seven veils” has never been a part of Middle Eastern dance traditions, and is not performed in the Middle East today. It was invented by European minds, and has been preserved by the entertainment industry.’

Still, it’s quite a sight here:
