Go Now – The Moody Blues

The T Rex clip – the dancing audience were hopeless, daggy and more concerned about whether or not they were on the tele. No idea.

Viv, I only see a clutch of remarkably intact and privileged by all appearances young people jigging to a perfect sound. Gee what a band they were as musicians. Is the tasselled blouse reminiscent of Marianne Faithful or one other of our girls? I thought of Debbie Harry too of Blondie, but who is as stunning looking and as talented really…
First time I’ve seen a clip of this crowd and taken real notice…and he was only 29! when he was killed in a car crash. Thud! Enough to make me cry. Looking back these people needed some sort of magic pill to keep them safe so they didn’t so many turn into Alice in Wonderland… 😦

Yes, I saw that too but I meant to convey that they were hopeless/not much chop at dancing

Agreed, more like swaying or box steps.

Swaying is good. Jigging seems extreme. 😉

I love Nina Simone, after listening to her I have to have a break so as not to contaminate the lovely feeling her singing gives me… and after that break I might just listen to her again… 🙂

She’s a wonderful voice isn’t she Helvi. Rodriguez did a great version of this song, he’s playing at the Enmore next weekend (Regina Specktor played there last night).

I tested all of these before I posted and they all worked. Yet a week or two later they pull them down, when I have problems I just use the Vevo link. Thanks for the update.

You’re welcome, Helvi.

It almost sounds as if they used two pianos for this recording, thinking on how long ago this was recorded or the piano is tuned differently for each movement of the piece and how moving is the instrumental. It’s fabulous. No wonder we have these people on a pedestal of admiration and thinking too on sound engineers and producers…

Well, Algernon .. I could see and hear better before, and now I always forget where I leave my reading glasses. I have to screw them to my head one of these days. 🙂

Ain’t that the truth. My problem is I wear my reading glasses then walk outside with them on instead of my distance glasses and wonder why I can’t see anything. 🙂

Great selections Algernon, in about 50 minutes I’ll play them 🙂
