Algy, I think most of us hung out for the …. are you ready, boots …. I shudder to think what Frank thought of Nancy’s singing voice though ….

She croons in her own sort of way. Lee had a voice that Frank would approved of.

Well, started off with Boots, then Bang Bang and got led astray into the Animals and the Hollies. Bloody great stuff with a Nina Simone interlude and then on to others including Roy Orbison. This is why the music lists as so darn terrific.

I go off on these tangents too sometimes. that’s how the lists come together. To an extent that’s how this one with a bit of research came to be.

I got led astray, on Youtube, and watched a nine year old Danish girl, Angelina Jordaon, who sang ‘Bang Bang’ better than Nancy!

Thanks for this list, Algernon. Brings back memories of some 1960s and ‘70s hippie flicks but I cannot remember the titles or the stars. 🙂

It got it all, pop, psychedelia, country, alt country not to mention the odd theme. Great stuff.

Its the only one Lee Hazlewood didn’t sing one. He did write the song though. Yes its one tune that stuck in my mind from the period.
