Great list! Thank you Algy.
I cranked up Sisters and went outside to change the position of the hose to it. Good test of a number and its sound if it translates well through a window of a suburban house. Fabulous. 🙂

Still getting over the news the Oils are coming to play at Albury-Wodonga. Trouble is it is standing room only.

Well I saw that I’ve pre registered for tickets at the domain. Looks like most of them are outdoor venues.

I don’t think I have the stamina to stand up for 1 hour let alone 4 hours. No chairs allowed. This weird arthritis I got two years ago is a real bugger. Mainly hands, wrists and one elbow but occasionally ankles get a bit stuffed. I’ve 9 days to decide before tickets on sale. Pre-registering going on but family at present is scattered for a few days. We’ll have a discussion and see what goes.

Well we sweltered through the Gunners last weekend but at least we were sitting down, cactus the next day though. Both my knees have arthritis as does my left ankle, standing on grass should be OK as should sitting.

Weirdly I find standing on the spot tiring. Wandering around is different. If I sat down on the grass I wouldn’t see much. I’ve never been to a standing concert. Did you enjoy Guns and Roses – I have one of their CDs.

Surprisingly yes, I did enjoy Guns ‘n Roses. Slash’s guitar work was just fantastic. They played for nearly three hours. Mrs A is more the fan. The younger and her boyfriend went and stood in the mosh pit.
I’m with you with the standing, moving around makes it a better. Mrs A and I saw Suzi Quatro on Tuesday night and even standing for part of that was hurt the feet.
The Algernonina’s don’t play netball anymore and struggled to stand beside the courts when they were playing. Concrete was a bugger but the grass being soft was OK.

I can’t sit on the grass for the discomfort of having no back support and not knowing what to do with my legs as my knees are past it. My neighbour over the road who is a few years younger can garden sitting on her legs with her knees bent under her and flat to the ground. Cor. Envy.

Don’t think I can cope with the knees underneath for more than a minute. Even getting up from a sitting or squatting position can take assistance at times.
BTW the mangoes are starting to come off the tree. Its heaving with fruit, no idea what we’ll do with all of it. The tree flowered late this year and with a hot summer they’re ripening early.

Oh the image of the mango tree fruiting like that is such a noy. Perhaps freeze mango pulp? Maybe bottle slices? Put them in a box at your front gate and distribute them to the universe? Look up a local Give Away or Sell page on Facebook? We do that here when all else fails…

Of course noy is joy..phone fingers 🙂

We’ll give the some to the neighbours, at work and to family. The box at the front is on the cards too.

Reckon we’ll be taking mangoes off for the next two weeks. Took of about 150 this afternoon and there’s still hundreds to go. Junior came around to give me a hand.

Maybe we might feature a photo of your mango or mangoes, Algernon. What do you think. A mango tree out back would sure add a new dimension to the goings-on in the car park. It puts mango chutney right up there on the Sports Bar menu. 🙂

Thank you for your enthusiasm viv. Guess all the greats need to retire one day. But their body of work will live on.
