The sax always hits a tender note. My late brother played sax in his years at Uni and a few until his work hours took over I think that he told he wasn’t playing anymore. I’m just listening to Dire Straits as my first choice.

The Younger played sax and tenor sax in bands at school. She was very good but stopped playing in year 11. It get pulled out for the odd jam every now and again. They have a band at NAS where she’s now a student, but no inclination to join.
I saw Bryan Ferry on Friday night, the sax playing made the shoe, the saxophonist just made the show, played sax , tenor, base as well as the cornet and keyboard as well. Loved it.
