She’s the real thing young Tal.
Appropriately that opening track is called something like “Can I Make It Last, Or Will It Just Be Over”, a Boz Scaggs tune from, shit, the early seventies? if I remember correctly.
Shame facedly admits huge mistake. Found old recording. Track is actually called
“Cause We’ve Ended as Lovers” and was released on “Blow by Blow” I think.
Sorry Boz. Sorry Jeff. I’ll go and stand in the corner for a minute.
Very nice. While you were all looking at her boobs none of you noticed that she was using 4 X 10’s per quad box instead of 2 X 15’s. Obviously looking for a more high end bass sound.
Browsing thru JB Hi Fi today, I noticed buy 2 and get a 3rd one free: cds. $9.99 each.
So I got Bob Seger, Steve Miller and Carol King (for her indoors) . Of cvourse I have them all on vinyl.
All greatest hits. Just been playing Steve Miller at high volume in the car. Sounds great even now!
However, the thing is the pic on the front. It could be ‘you’ if I squint. I haven’t googled to see if it is the sam pic on the net I suppose it must be. The CD has a sub-title ‘Young Hearts’.
Yes, we are a handsome pair, thanks Jules. Over the years I have played a few of his tunes. While simple in chord structure it’s the reaction from the crowd that shows he knew how to structure a good rock song.
Fantastic! And the music wasn’t bad either! What a bassist! And what a cutie! Can’t find enough superlatives; she makes Jeff Beck look almost extraneous; she certainly knows how to steal the limelight… And it still sounds fantastic even when I’m not watching the vid…
I must confess that I’ve been so much into bass players lately that I didn’t really notice her ‘standout features’ until I’d watched this vid for the tenth time!

I was wondering WTF you were on about. I think Blow by Blow came out in the late 70s, and predates a lot of Boz!

Tal’s a young Australian bass player who,as you can see here, punches well above her weight with the great Jeff Beck, at Crossroads, 2007.
