Bo Diddley came and played in Albury long time ago. We’d only been here a few years. I was tickled pink to be there.

Great – missed having a list last week. Always learning.

Can’t say I’ve ever seen Bo Diddley though he has toured extensively.

I’ve seen and heard Bo Diddley, Muddy Waters, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee and Chuck Berry – all in the early ’70s at Sydney Uni. Those were the days when the student union and the SRC weren’t packs of self-serving wankers.
Theyu organised some top shelf gigs.
Chuck was really mean – no encore unless palm was greased with extra cash. Is never going to happen with eternally broke students.
But they were all really very good value gigs.
