I was going to ask whether you can dig this – but hey – WAAAAY TOO CHEESY ! The great Justin Johnson
OK, pedants – I realise these are spades, but what the heck, they’re a lot easier to play than a fork or a rake 🙂
Pig’s Arms patrons can secure one of these for the musical gardener in your life for a snip – US$400 plus postage A$1,790. Try not to get it dirty and definitely don’t leave it out in the rain – especially plugged in !
These, and matchbox guitars are making a comeback. They sort of rememnd me of seasick Steve and his crazy tunings.

I saw a 4 string Uke made out of a flattish oil tin. It was tempting but I just forked out for a new “steel” body Uke. Beautiful with a Hawaiian scene etched on the back. Some Chinese craftsfolk are whacking it together as we speak.
Well have to do a Seasick Steve special !

Yes, I really like Seasick Steve.
I’m amazed at the quality and diversity of Ukuleles. There are some great sounding solid body bass ukes which are being used by serious bass players. Your dobro style also sounds fascinating.
