Capricorn Dancer takes me back to a Sunday and a house on Louisa Road in Birchgrove. The late winter watery sun falling over the western suburbs.
We ate rough bread, fetta cheese and olives, and drank cheap white wine and wondered about the future.
Well here we are.

Nice.
Mrs A and I looked at a place in Louisa Street, advertised as circa 1902, everything in the house was circa that date. Fantastic water views from both sides. Even in its dilapidated condition it was way beyond us.

Jesus, Waz. Two short paragraphs for some reason reduced me to tears. My ex and I had a place in Ballast Point Rd for 14 years.
It was just like that.
Do us the honour of another wonderful story for the OA patrons.

That was the intent. A mix of jazz and soul, with some 70’s & 80’s thrown in for good measure. Its meant to be my indulgent list to coincide with the end of October.
I was trying to find something by Miles Davis from the Nice Jazz festival in 1985, which I went to and saw him play, plenty around the date but not Nice. Thought him with John Coltrane was a nice substitute.
